Overcrowding crisis his new level at UHL

The overcrowding crisis at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) continued on Monday as 143 people were at one point waiting for a bed.
Waiting numbers at the hospital hit a record of 150 in early February,

In a statement issued by the hospital, people have now been asked to consider "all care options" before going to the emergency department.

All scheduled activity has been deferred for today, and will continue to be under review.
