The building of a bike shed at Leinster House at the cost of €336,000 to the taxpayer has sparked outrage.
The OPW (Office of Public Works) appointed the contractor in December 2023, and building started in January 2024.
The shelter consists of granite paving, and is built with glass and steel.
A full and immediate review of the project haas been ordered by the Minister of State for the Office of Public Works, Kieran O'Donnell.
